Representing Community Interest


A little bit of history

Cupar Community Council, and others, was setup by government legislation in 1973 with express purpose of communicating public issues to the administration and elected members. This Fife Scheme was updated by Fife Council after it's formation.

Many have gone beyond their initial remit and looked towards the enhancement of the local environment.

Chairman - Canon Pat McInnally resigned Jan 2016; Gina Logan Jan 2016 onwards

Vice-Chairman - Gina Logan to Jan 2016; Robert Graham 2016 onwards

In attendance at most meetings are local Councillors Karen Majoram; Margaret Kennedy and Bryan Poole.

Our planning sub-group is convened by David Kirk to March 2016 Robert Graham April 2016 onwards; Events sub-group Gina Logan; Health & Community sub-group Christina Cooper.

Community Council Meetings

The Community Council meets on the last Tuesday of each month throughout the year.

Meetings are held at 7.00pm within County Buildings, St Catherine Street, Cupar.

All meetings are open to the public, accessible for those with mobility needs and the meeting room has an induction loop installed. Minutes are made available, after being approved, in the local library.

There is an opportunity at the start of the meeting for public questions.
