Cupar North The developer leading on the Cupar North (Master Plan) has advised Fife Council Planning that they have withdrawn their application. The community council await further information regarding the impact of this decision, including the real prospect of the linked "byepass road" failing to materialise. Housing development and transport through the town remans a concern for many Cuparians. |

Gritting Bins - self help! We are all hoping for a mild winter, however, if you have an issue with a local grit bin, use this link to report - grit bins can be used for self-help, let's all be safe this winter. |

War Memorial - Lighting. The community council have for a number of months been highlighting and chasing the repair required to the lighting of the War Memorial. There is a cable breakage which requires ground works and traffic management. No date has been scheduled for this remedial work to be done, we will continue to chase this up to restore the lighting. Fife Council and Councillors are aware and monitoring progress. |

Former Elmwood College/SRUC Community Council are very much aware of the concerns regarding the future of the now mothballed main College building and the awaited outcome of the SRCU review/consultation. There is considerable interest in the town and wider about the future of the site, protection of the green space and tree collection. Whilst this remains a local issue the community council has this as a standing item on their agenda for updates, representation and comment!
