Bus Service Changes from 24th March 2025 Please see attached timetables and summary advised via Fife Council - Transportation Services:
We analysed all the feedback and comments and did our best to accommodate these. Feedback from the consultation has bene incorporated where it was possible. These changes will commence Monday 24th March, The main changes to the Fife Council Supported Services are: Service 92 has been renumbered to Service 77, 77A. The proposed circular routes have been amended to reflect the current timetable and route. This ensures cross town links between Tayport and Wormit via Norwood for access to the doctor's surgery. Evening and Sunday journeys operate via Dundee as Service 77 to assist passengers. This journey will now appear on online journey planners i.e. Traveline. Service 63 after exhausting all possibilities unfortunately Springfield cannot at this stage be incorporated into the timetable, due to continued reliability issues. Fife Council Supported Service 64 continues to serve Springfield for access to Cupar, St Andrews and Glenrothes. Links to Pitcairn surgery continue to be available Service 64 has been amended to serve Giffordtown through the day. Following passenger feedback the journey that arrives in St Andrews for approx. 8am will remain; resulting in the journey to Glenrothes departing at the same time as the current timetable. Service M65 following Operator feedback the 19:57 Ladybank departure to St Andrews will now commence from Glenrothes bus station at 19:44 an operate as Service 63. The 23:18 journey to Cupar has been removed. Alternative travel to Cupar is available from St Andrews with Service X59 and from Balmullo with Service 41A. Please note that all Moffat & Williamson services departing St Andrews will no longer service Market Street and will operate via Greyfriars Gardens, St Andrews in an effort to improve reliability. Additionally, Moffat and Williamson have taken the opportunity to amend their commercial service between Gauldry and Dundee. All commercial journeys will operate as Service M77 and provide an hourly service between Gauldry and Wormit to Dundee. To accommodate this all commercial journeys are removed from Norwood. Local journeys to Norwood are available on Fife Council Supported Service 77, 77A.
